Happy New Years
January 2026
As we welcome in the New Year, I’d like to take a moment to thank you all once again for support us here at STL in our FIRST year of business.
What a wonderful year, we have had and it is all down to YOU — our wonderful customers, partners, and cake lovers — for making this year truly unforgettable!
We have helped you celebrate, birthdays, weddings, new homes and new life... What a pleasure it has been!

January started with a bang, with a sell out New Year Menu, and the month almost fully booked.
I had expected the months post Christmas to be void of orders, oh how wrong I was, and now February is filling up too! I only have two words to say THANK YOU!!
Christmas Update
December 2025
What a busy month it has been, from Birthdays and Events to Christmas itself, it's been a whirlwind.
​
December was awards month for the UK SBA and winners were announced, and although we didn't win, I am beyond excited to say not only was I a finalist representing Liverpool under the new start up category, I received a certificate to say I had actually been listed in the top 100 NATION WIDE.
​
During the past two weeks in the run up to Christmas, I have really pushed myself to the limit with orders, not wanting to let anyone down over the holidays.
​
From that I've learnt a valuable lesson, I'm only one person, and I must not to over do it!
​
I ended up with pneumonia but happy to say that yesterday Christmas Day I had the full day to rest and take it easy, this morning was just a short stop in the Shed, and home for a family lunch.
​
Tomorrow, it's back to it all hands on deck for Birthdays this week and New Year Cupcakes.
​
It also looks like there will be no rest for the wicked in January as our diary is almost full!
Awards and Recognition
November 2025
At the start of the year I joined a home baking business group run by the wonderful Annie Bennett.
​
Last month I took part in the HBBC Challenge, and won recognition for strength and determination in starting the business.
​
In October I joined the Home Baking Business Academy and the starting weekend won Cover Photo with one of my latest bakes, I could not be happier.
​
Last but not least I was recently nominated for a UK Small Business award and I am EXTREMELY proud to announce the I have been short listed for:

START UP BUSINESS 2025 - representing Liverpool.
We are now a regular stall holder
October 2025
From the 7th September, we are now a regular with Craft House Artisan Markets, held at the Rhys Jones community centre in Croxteth.
​
Which is usually held on the first Sunday of each month.
​
We are absolutely delighted to be part of this monthly event, meeting new people and making lovely new friends.

Market Stalls
August 2025
On the 29th August, we had our very first Market stall at Mini Fest, hosted by the wonderful Regally Royal parties & Dj Jay parties.
​
It was a wonderful and successful day, the sun shone and with the help of my wonderful team for the day Judi & Kath, we made a lot of people very happy and made some new friends.
​
We also ran a competition / free giveaway and made £35 to go towards our donation to Marie Curie Stars in memory of Becky's late mum Isobel.
